According to a report from NBC 6 South Florida, a major eighteen wheeler rollover accident resulted in a large amount of fuel being spilled on a highway in Fort Lauderdale. State Highway in Fort Lauderdale Temporarily Halted After Tractor Trailer Rollover
As confirmed in reporting from NBC 6 South Florida, a rollover crash involving a tractor-trailer on State Road 84 within the City of Fort Lauderdale caused several injuries and major traffic disruptions. The truck overturned in the eastbound lanes near Interstate 95 (I-95). The large commercial vehicle came to rest on an overpass alongside two pickup trucks. Fire rescue crews reported six injuries, with four people transported to local hospitals. The good news is that, thankfully, none of the six injuries were severe. All victims are expected to make a full recovery. Notably, a diesel fuel spill in the rollover crash forced lane closures for several hours.
