How does the negligence of an operator of a vessel lead to an accident?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

Negligence can take on many forms in boating accidents. For example, hitting a big wave, taking a wave at an unsafe speed or at a particular angle, having contact with propellers operating at a high rate of speed, failing to keep a proper lookout for a skier or someone tubing behind your boat, and really not knowing the navigational rules which in large part always lead to a collision with another watercraft.
