Should I release my medical records to another driver’s insurance adjuster?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

In Florida insurance companies have a duty to investigate claims. You cannot get in front of that duty and prevent them from investigating the claim. It is to your benefit that you provide them with all of the information so that they can adjust the claim in good faith and offer a settlement to you. I always suggest that you provide all the medical records so that the insurance company cannot turn around and say "We didn’t have all the information that we required to adjust the claim."
