Adam Kay is originally from West Bloomfield, Michigan and moved to Boynton Beach, Florida in May of 2011. He is a third generation attorney. Adam’s grandfather and uncle were commercial litigation and personal injury attorneys in Michigan. This led him to an early interest in law. Adam also has a background in sales and management with over ten years of sales experience with national companies. After graduating from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a major in Finance, Adam attended Michigan State University College of Law.
During law school, Adam received the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for Highest Honors in Professional Responsibility during the Spring Semester of 2010. Adam also studied abroad in Florence, Italy the summer before his final year at Michigan State University College of Law.
Additionally, Adam was a member of the Michigan State University College of Law Journal of International law, first as a Junior Associate and later as the Senior Associate and Team Leader. While on the Journal of International Law, Adam published an article titled Boardroom Roulette — A Reflective Look at International Goals, Failures & Crises, and Remedies in the Field of Corporate Governance, 19 Mich. St. J. Int’l 449 (2011).
Adam is part of the firm’s commercial litigation, franchise and personal injury departments where he serves clients in both State and Federal Courts. Adam is also admitted to the United States Court for the Southern District of Florida.
