Pike & Lustig, LLP. We see solutions where others see problems.

I was a pedestrian hit by a car. I live alone and do not own a car. Who pays for my medical bills?

Return to FAQ Videos

As a pedestrian, you are entitled to make a claim with the vehicle owner’s auto insurance company to have their insurance company pay for your medical expenses under the personal injury protection benefits of that vehicle. Further investigation will be required to determine if additional coverage is available to protect you.
