Pike & Lustig, LLP. We see solutions where others see problems.

I was hit by a car while out walking but the driver stated that he could not see me because of vegetation. Is the owner of the land liable for my injuries?

Return to FAQ Videos

This presents all sorts of problems because in that case, you would have to bring a claim against the owner of the land and possibly maybe against the landscaping company that was supposed to trim the vegetation. Therefore in that case, you would have several defendants in your case including the driver of the vehicle, the owner of the home, and possibly the landscaping company in charge of trimming the vegetation.
