What is insurance bad faith?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

Insurance bad faith comes into play when an insurance carrier does not protect your rights as an insured, by paying policy limits when it could and should have done so. When an insurance carrier doesn’t protect your rights and an excess judgement is entered against you, the insurance carrier can be liable for bad faith.
