Deadly Accident Reported on I-95 Near West Palm Beach

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that the crash in question happened shortly before 10:00 PM on March 8th, 2023. A red Chevrolet truck was traveling the northbound lane of I-95 in West Palm Beach. Two other vehicles—a Tesla and a Mercedes—were going in the same direction in an adjacent lane. It struck a concrete barrier and was propelled into the path of the Tesla. The Mercedes was then caught up in the accident.

What Steps to Take After a Multi-Vehicle Crash on a Highway in South Florida

Multi-vehicle crashes on highways in South Florida can be particularly complicated due to the number of drivers involved, the possibility of severe injuries, and the potential for multiple insurance claims. With congested roads, high speeds, and unpredictable weather, these accidents can occur suddenly, leaving those involved feeling overwhelmed. In the aftermath of a multi-vehicle crash, it’s crucial to take several key steps to ensure the safety and well-being of all parties involved and protect your legal rights. Here are some key steps to take:

  • Stop Your Vehicle, Exchange Information, and Assess the Situation: Any driver involved in a crash, must stop their vehicle and exchange information. It does not matter if you were not the cause of the accident.
  • Get Medical Care for Any Injuries: All car crash injuries in Florida should be evaluated by a doctor. Notably, you cannot bring a car accident injury claim unless you have seen a doctor.
  • Document the Crash: The more evidence that you have about how and why the multi-vehicle crash happened, the better position that you will be in to get justice.
  • Consult a Personal Injury Attorney: In the case of a multi-vehicle crash, determining liability can be challenging. It is essential to consult with a top Florida car accident attorney who can help you navigate the complexities of your case and protect your rights.
